Head to the WhyHotel by Placemakr, Columbia guest entrance, located at
6200 Valencia Lane (in the Marlow apartment building). Use this link to navigate to our location on Valencia Lane.
Enter your PIN code on the scanner to enter. As long as you've verified your information, this PIN code will have been sent to you the day of your arrival.
Didn't receive a code? Call the office, and we'll give you a code to enter.
Once inside, follow the signs to the elevators. You'll need to enter the PIN again at the elevator reader, and then press the up button.Please come to our office in Unit 4202 to pick up your room key card.
Parking is available in our garage located on Valencia Lane, just past the main entrance. Parking is $35/day.
1. Get your building code
On the morning of your arrival, you will receive a code to use for one
time entry into the building and elevators.
2. Park temporarily
Enter the garage and park in one of the temporary spots near the elevator vestibule.
3. Finish check-in
Then, take the elevator to Guest Services in Unit 4042 to pick up your parking pass and unit key card. You'll need to enter the PIN we sent you in the morning at the elevator reader, and then press the up button.
4. Finish check-in
We'll see you in Unit 4042 to check-in. Once you've checked in, you can use your keycard to park on the 4th floor and access your unit. Call us at (667) 354-0851 for assistance. If arriving outside of 8a.m. - 8 p.m., please let us know in advance.

In order to keep Placemakr safe for all guests and residents, we require all guests to verify their information before giving access to the building and their unit.
We will send you a unique link to verify your information and complete your reservation, however you may also look it up here.
We've partnered with AppleTV so you can stream TV just like you do at home. There are over 15 popular apps pre-downloaded on the TVs that you can sign into, or you can download any available apps from the App Store. For a live TV option, check out the Pluto TV app which offers over 100 channels.
We always clear your login information after your stay.
For a quick and seamless TV experience, we recommend having your login information ready prior to arrival.
We provide all the necessities to keep your room clean ( broom and dustpan, paper towels, dish soap, and laundry detergent, including laundry (in-unit washer and dryer) and dishwashers.
Guests staying with us for 7 days or longer will receive a complimentary unit cleaning once a week. Guests staying for shorter stays have the option of purchasing à la carte cleaning for $119. Contact us to arrange for this service.
If you need extra towels or linens, please ask us.
All food and grocery deliveries must be met at the front entrance. For safety reasons, we don't allow deliveries up to guest floors.
We're a stone's throw from our local Whole Foods. It's a quick drive or a 15 minute walk. Open daily 7am-10pm. Directions here.
If you’re having packages delivered, please follow the example below. You will be contacted if you have a package; otherwise, reach out to us.
We use a carrier service for deliveries, which are first sent to a nearby warehouse. Once they are delivered to WhyHotel, we will reach out to notify you.

Q: Does WhyHotel by Placemakr, Columbia allow pets?
A: Yes, pets are welcome. Please let us know before your arrival if you’re bringing a pet so we can prepare for them.
This property is dog- and cat-friendly. We charge a non-refundable, one-time pet cleaning fee of $100 to cover the costs of special housekeeping. This helps ensure the safety and comfort of guests who stay in the room after you.
As a Placemakr guest, you agree to our terms and conditions, which include our pet policy. Please refer to the policy for specifics, including a fine for failure to declare a pet.

A: Yes, WhyHotel by Placemakr, Columbia provides complimentary luggage storage. If you arrive early, we’re happy to offer free luggage storage until check-in time at 4 p.m. Placemakr is not responsible for lost or stolen property.
Q: Does Placemakr provide housekeeping for its guests?

For non-prepaid reservations on our standard cancellation policy, your payment method on file will be charged the day before your arrival. If you need to update your payment method, please let us know.
We do not accept cash or pre-paid credit cards.

If you booked through a different site, such as Expedia or Airbnb, please contact that site directly to alter your stay.
