For group bookings of 6 rooms or fewer, you can book directly through our website—it’s quick and easy. How old do I have to be to book and stay with Placemakr?
Guests must be 21 or older to book and stay with us. Each room must have at least one guest who is 21+ for the duration of the stay.
How do I extend my booking?
Plans changed? No problem. You can extend your stay by booking more dates on placemakr.com/book. You can also text us, stop by the front desk, or email hello@placemakr.com. We’ll help make it happen.
How do I request a receipt?
Need a receipt for your stay? Just log into your account at placemakr.com and head to your reservation details—your receipt is available to download anytime. If something looks off or you need a custom format, reach out to us directly through the site or at hello@placemakr.com. We’ve got you.
How do I cancel my stay?
You can cancel anytime by logging into your account at placemakr.com. Head to your reservation details and select “Cancel Reservation.”
Just a heads up: Cancellation policies vary by property and rate type—including some non-refundable options—so be sure to check your confirmation email for the details that apply to your stay.
How do I change the dates of my stay?
We understand that plans change. Reach out to the property directly or send us a note at hello@placemakr.com and we'll do our best to make it work.
My receipt is incorrect. How do I get it fixed?
We want to make this right. Log into your account and head to your reservation details to download your current receipt. If anything looks off, you can contact us at hello@placemakr.com —we’ll take care of it.
What forms of payment are accepted at Placemakr properties?
We accept all major credit cards—including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. You can also pay for your reservation online using Apple Pay or Google Pay.
Just a heads up: we don’t accept prepaid cards, gift cards, or virtual bank cards at this time. If you have any questions about payment, we're here to help.
Can I pay with cash?
We’re a cash-free operation. For a smooth, secure experience, we only accept major credit cards. Prepaid cards, gift cards, and virtual bank cards aren’t accepted either—but if you’ve got questions or need help with payment, just reach out. We’re happy to help.

What do I need to do before check-in?
Before you can receive check-in instructions (and unlock your door), you’ll need to:

What time is check-in?
Check-in begins at 4 PM local time at all Placemakr properties. You're welcome to arrive anytime after that. If you're planning to check in after 8 PM, we recommend giving us a heads up via your account, by text, or at hello@placemakr.com—we’ll make sure everything’s smooth for your arrival.
How will I know when my room is ready?
We’ll text and email you as soon as your apartment is ready—sometimes that’s even before 4 PM. You’ll get everything you need to check in as soon as your space is available and your pre-arrival steps are complete.
What is guest verification?
Guest verification is a quick, secure step that helps make your check-in seamless—no front desk lines, no last-minute paperwork. It’s how we confirm your ID and card on file ahead of time, so you can check in on your terms, at your pace.
It also helps us keep your reservation secure and every stay safe. Once you’re verified and approved, you’re good to go—at many of our properties, you can even skip the front desk completely and head straight to your apartment with a digital key.
Is my personal information safe during guest verification?
Absolutely. Your security is a top priority. We partner with a trusted, industry-leading platform that securely handles the identity verification process. Our verification partner encrypts and stores all sensitive data—Placemakr doesn’t access, store, or sell your personal information, ever.
The process is designed to be safe, private, and seamless. It helps us ensure every reservation is valid and every guest is protected—without adding any friction to your stay. Once you’re verified, your data is protected and your check-in is smooth.

How does contactless check-in work?

Is there luggage storage on-site?
Some of our locations offer luggage storage either through the front desk or a secure drop area. Availability can vary by property, so it’s best to check with your location directly. If you're arriving early or leaving late, we’ll do our best to help make your transition smooth.
Do you have a Pack 'n Play or crib available?
Yes—we’ve got families covered. Many of our properties can provide a Pack 'n Play upon request, free of charge. Availability is limited, so we recommend reaching out as early as possible to reserve one for your stay.

Absolutely. Every unit comes fully furnished and thoughtfully equipped with the essentials—from chef-ready kitchens (yes, real pots and pans) to in-unit cleaning supplies like dish soap, paper towels, and laundry detergent. Just bring your favorite ingredients, and you're set.
Is housekeeping included?
We provide weekly housekeeping for all stays. If you’d like additional cleaning during your time with us, you can add it anytime for $119 per service.

Are there quiet hours at Placemakr?
Yes—our quiet hours typically run from 10PM to 7AM, so everyone can rest easy. We want every guest to feel at home, and that includes having a peaceful night’s sleep.

Is there staff on-site if I need help?

Will I have cleaning supplies in my apartment?
