Placemakr Navy Yard offers contactless check-in for verified guests. Follow the steps below to ensure a smooth check-in.
1. Verify your information
In order to keep Placemakr safe for all guests and residents, we require all guests to verify their information before giving access to the building and their unit.
We will send you a unique link to verify your information and complete your reservation, however you may also look it up here.
2. Wait for your unit information via text
Expect a text from us at check-in time with your apartment number and unique PIN code. We'll text you as soon as your apartment is ready. No need to stop in the lobby, you can head straight up to your apartment!
West Building Guests (W101-WT07):
Enter your Building PIN + # to enter the building. Then, head to the elevator in the lobby and up to your apartment. To access your apartment, place your palm on the black face of the lock to light up the pin-pad and then enter your Apartment PIN + ✓ to enter.
Arrival
This property is made up of two adjacent buildings.
East Building access:
To access the building, enter your PIN followed by # on the black pin-pad.
From the lobby, head towards the elevators and up to your apartment floor. To access your apartment, enter your PIN followed by # on the pin-pad. Wi-Fi information can be found inside.
Townhouse access:
The Two Bedroom Townhouse (TH1) is located at 819 L St SE. The Townhouse can also be accessed via the East Building:
West Building access:
To access the building, enter your Building PIN followed by # on the black pin-pad.
From the lobby, head towards the elevators and up to your apartment floor. To access your apartment, enter your Apartment PIN followed by the checkmark (✔) on the pin-pad. Wi-Fi information can be found inside.
Parking:
We are not able to offer parking at Placemakr Navy Yard. If you need parking, we recommend the SpotHero website and app to find nearby options. Please reach out if you have any questions.
Wi-Fi is always complimentary at all Placemakr properties. In addition to in-unit signs, we will email you your unit network and password at the time of check-in.
We've partnered with Roku TV so you can stream TV just like you do at home. You'll have access to Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, and other available streaming services. Roku TV instructions can be found in your apartment.
We always clear your login information after your stay.
For a quick and seamless TV experience, we recommend having your login information ready prior to arrival.
You’ll have broom and dustpan, paper towels, dish soap, and laundry detergent in your apartment. Each apartment also has a full-size washer and dryer.
If you need extra towels or linens, please ask us.
Please meet your food and grocery deliveries at the front door. For safety reasons, we don't allow deliveries up to guest floors.

A: Yes! Pets are welcome.
This property is dog-and-cat-friendly. We charge a non-refundable, one-time pet cleaning fee of $100 + tax to cover the costs of special housekeeping. This helps ensure the safety and comfort of guests who stay in the room after you.

For non-prepaid reservations on our standard cancellation policy, your payment method on file will be charged the day before your arrival. If you need to update your payment method, please let us know.
We do not accept cash or pre-paid credit cards.
Please refer to your confirmation email to review your cancellation policy. If you need to cancel or modify your stay and you booked directly through Placemakr.com or our team, please contact us. If you booked through a different site, such as Expedia or Airbnb, please contact that site directly to alter your stay.
