Placemakr Santa Clara offers contactless check-in for verified guests. Follow the steps below to ensure a smooth check-in.
1. Verify your informationIn order to keep Placemakr safe for all guests and residents, we require all guests to verify their information before giving access to the building and their unit.
We will send you a unique link to verify your information and complete your reservation, however you may also look it up here.
2. Wait for your unit information via textExpect an email from "LATCH" the morning of check-in day with an invitation to create an account and download the Latch App. This will be your mobile key during your stay.
Once your apartment is ready at or before 4pm, we will text you your apartment information and access will be available in the app for you.
3. Head up to your unit
No need to stop by Guest Services, just head in the main entrance and up to your apartment. We're here 24/7 if you need anything!
Arriving by foot or getting dropped off
Placemakr Santa Clara is a pop-up hotel located inside the beautiful Lafayette Apartments. Use this link to navigate to the main entrance on Calle del Mundo.
Parking
Parking is available on-site for $20 per day (maximum of 1 space per unit). If you need parking, let us know ahead of time through the verification process or calling/texting with us. Parking is available on a first come first serve basis.
If you’ve arranged for parking with us, please stop by Guest Services office to get your hang tag. This is required to enter the parking garage. Our Guest Services office is located in Unit 103. You can access it directly from the street—if you're facing the parking garage, it's the first unit to the left. Look for the light blue and white Placemakr branding on the exterior entrance.
We'll happily accept food and other deliveries in our Guest Services Office in Unit 103. You are also welcome to meet delivery drivers at the building main entrance. For safety reasons, we don't allow deliveries up to guest floors.
We've partnered with Roku so you can stream TV just like you do at home. There are over 15 popular apps pre-downloaded on the TVs that you can sign into, or you can download any available apps from the Roku App Store. For a live TV option, check out the Pluto TV app which offers over 100 channels.
We always clear your login information after your stay.For a quick and seamless TV experience, we recommend having your login information ready prior to arrival.
Each unit has access to a washer and dryer for washing your clothes and linens either in your unit or in shared communal space. All units are also equipped with handheld steamers.
You’ll have broom and dustpan, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, and laundry detergent, and you can add á la carte unit cleaning for $119/cleaning. If you need extra towels or linens, please ask us.
Q: Does Placemakr Santa Clara allow pets?
A: Only verified service animals are allowed on property. Please reach out if you have any questions.
Q: Do you have a pack-n-play?
A: Yes! Placemakr Santa Clara is family-friendly. If you need a pack ’n play, please let us know before your arrival, and we’ll make sure you’re all squared away.
Q: Is there luggage storage on-site?
A: Yes, Placemakr Santa Clara provides complimentary luggage storage. If you arrive early, we’re happy to offer free luggage storage until check-in time at 4 p.m. Placemakr is not responsible for lost or stolen property.
Q: Does Placemakr provide housekeeping for its guests?
A: We provide all the necessities to keep your room clean, including laundry (in-unit washer and dryer or complimentary on-site laundry facilities) and dishwashers. We do, however, offer à la carte cleaning for $119. Contact us to arrange for this service.
Q: Does Placemakr Santa Clara offer early check-in?
A: When available, we're happy to offer early check-in for an additional cost.

For non-prepaid reservations on our standard cancellation policy, your payment method on file will be charged the day before your arrival. If you need to update your payment method, please let us know.
We do not accept cash or pre-paid credit cards.
Please refer to your confirmation email to review your cancellation policy. If you need to cancel or modify your stay and you booked directly through Placemakr.com or our team, please contact us. If you booked through a different site, such as Expedia or Airbnb, please contact that site directly to alter your stay.
